Welcoming words from the Director

In the heart of a dynamic and friendly metropolis, immersed in the Age of Enlightenment, nearly 170 graduate engineering students come to learn at ENSAIA each year, to become major players in the agricultural, environmental, biotechnological and food industry sectors.

Our highly qualified teaching staff and the high level of research carried out in our laboratories assure that our students receive a quality education which is recognized by the whole of the industry and other structures where our former students are now fulfilling their dreams and ambitions.

The pedagogical policy at ENSAIA is defined by a strong desire for individualized study programs: the wide selection of specializations, the possibility to have a gap year between their 2nd and 3rd years, 3 mandatory training periods, learning the modern language of their choice in addition to English, which is considered to be essential in the workplace, and numerous team projects - all of which make ENSAIA engineering graduates stand out from other graduates, and nothing like identical clones produced from the same model.

Finally, the administration facilitates students taking responsibility by aiding them in organizing large scale student events: for example,  24h of Stanwhich is exclusively organized by ENSAIA students, bringing more than 50,000 people to Nancy, with a budget of over €100,000.

Between the TGV Est and Place Stanislas, you will find the means to fulfill your ambitions at ENSAIA, on both a professional and personal level, and to meet the major challenges of tomorrow with confidence.

Come to ENSAIA to discover, to share, to engage and, by doing so, open new horizons for yourself!
